Thinking Just Fat Loss Won't Work.

Fat loss is starting to enjoy its own separate identity in the world of health, fitness and well being. This is dangerous because it means the masses are accepting fatness. We are putting fat loss on a pedestal and in so doing are giving it too much air time. By giving fat loss so much power we are also giving people a way out or an excuse to be fat. In Effect the whole of the developed world are creating another problem that doesn't have to be thought of separately. We just need to leverage our lifestyle attention to get the same result.

Go to a party and see someone who looks slimmer and everyone automatically comments on how wonderful that individual looks. It is wonderful for the individual to have their efforts recognised but it can have a double edged sword attached to it. The attention and recognition soon resides once people get used to that individuals new appearance. In order to get more attention he or she may subconsciously manifest weight gain only to lose it again in an attempt to gain attention and recognition again. It's one example of the victim mentality and it is very much alive and well in developed countries today.

Fat loss focus creates an environment where true and holistic health and wellness focus doesn't always occur. Leading to a very one dimensional health and wellness approach. In general as I have stated many times before the majority relate fat loss to restriction so there alone is one more reason why fat loss thinking needs to lose its own identity. Restriction isn't a natural part of our make-up, it's negative. So any restriction we place on ourselves is taking us away from happiness and harmony.

Think lifestyle and not just fat loss. If your lifestyle is healthy then fat loss won't ever have to be considered. So employ these steps to allow fat loss to lose its own identity.
1. Initiate a plan than will get you addressing your whole lifestyle and not just one component of it. By overbalancing your efforts on only one part of your already inadequate lifestyle you will always fall over and have to go back to where you started from. If you need professional help then seek it. Don't gamble with your lifestyle, it's too valuable.
2. Activate all of your plans and put them into play. Remember procrastination is a curse and without action there will be no clarity. So just follow your plan and adjust it as you go if need be.
3. Don't Stagnate always keep looking for small improvements that will ensure your health, happiness and wellness is always being improved.
